Betty Borum, age 85, a resident of Oliver Springs, passed away Thursday, December 31. The family will receive friends on Monday, between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00 PM at Premier Sharp Funeral Home. Charles Jerome Yarber, age 89, of Knoxville, passed away December 30. He was a World War II veteran. The family will receive friends Monday, from 6-8 PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Lloyd J. Turner, Jr. age 74 of Kingston passed away Saturday January 2. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, and served as Commander of the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard for 9 years. The family will receive friends from 5:30pm until 7:30 pm Monday at the Kyker Funeral Home in Kingston. Funeral will follow with Rev. Jody McLoud officiating.
