Evelyn L. Baker, age 79, of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 21, 2025, after a lengthy illness at Tennova Turkey Creek Medical Center.
Evelyn loved her family and was a very giving person, putting others before herself. In her younger years, she enjoyed gardening and painting.
She worked as a Funeral Home Assistant, servicing many families throughout the years.
Awaiting her in heaven were her mom and dad, Henry and Bernice Duncan.
Her Brothers Glennis, Wymer, and Stanley: Sisters Jewel, Faye, Ginny, and Norma.
Nephews George, Jeff, Allen, and Wayne.
Survived by her children, Lisa Baker and John Baker.
Grandchildren, Dustin, Justin, Chris, McKinzie, Lucas, Cameron, and Konar, 10 Great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Many other family and friends.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, 12-2 pm at the Laurel Grove Baptist Church, Briceville, Tenn. Funeral will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Clayton Davis
