Jerry Allen Comer, age 73 of Harriman, passed away on Thursday, June 26. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans Mortuary. A Celebration of Life visitation will be held during this time. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. Jerry Allen Comer.

James Harold Nelson, 56 of Harriman, passed away June 28. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8pm Tuesday at the Kyker Funeral Home in Kingston. Graveside service Wednesday at Williams Family Cemetery in Swan Pond with Rev. Wayne Nelson officiating. Kyker Funeral Home Kingston in charge of arrangements.

Velma Marie McAbee age 93 of Harriman went to be with the Lord Saturday June 28. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7 PM Tuesday at Kyker Funeral Home Harriman. Funeral will follow with Rev. Tony Boswell officiating. Interment 3 PM Wednesday at Guilford Memorial Park in Greensboro, NC. Kyker Funeral Home Harriman in charge of arrangements.

Donly (Don) Woody, age 82, of Kingston, passed away Friday, June 27. He was a US Navy veteran who proudly served his country during the Korean War. Don was former Mayor of the City of Kingston and also served on Kingston City Council, Kingston Water Board, Kingston Planning Commission and Rockwood Electric Utility Board. The family will receive friends 5:00 -7:00 pm, Tuesday, at First Baptist Church in Kingston. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Sonny Works & Rev. Kyle Beverly officiating. Graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday at Kingston Memorial Gardens with full Navy military honors conducted at graveside by the Roane County Honor Guard. Barbara Gayle Foust Lively, age 55, of Lake City, passed away June 26. As per her wishes there will not be a memorial service and she will be cremated. Hatmaker Funeral Home, Lake City, TN in charge of arrangements.

Linda Robbins, age 68 of Clinton, passed away June 28. The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 5-7PM at Clinton Church of God. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Jamie Basler and Rev. Archie Corder officiating. Family and friends will meet Wednesday, at 11:00AM at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens for graveside services. Nancy Ann Ledbetter, age 70 passed away on Saturday morning, June 28. Nancy chose cremation and her cremains are to be buried in the Kern Methodist Church Memorial Gardens. Per her wishes, no services will be held. Jackson Funeral Services in charge of arrangements.

Mollie D. (Bennett) Powell, 99, of Clinton passed away Sunday June 29 at her home. Her family will receive friends Tuesday July 1 from 6 to 8 pm at Jones Mortuary with the funereal service to follow in the chapel. Interment will be held Wednesday at Anderson Memorial Gardens. Jorge R. Trujillo age 55 of Ten Mile, passed away Saturday June 28. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 until 7pm at the Kyker Funeral Home in Kingston. Mollie Dee Powell, 99, of Clinton passed away Sunday June 29. Mollie’s family will receive her friends, Tuesday, from 6-8pm with her funeral service at 8pm, all in the Chapel of Jones Mortuary, with Pastor Ronnie Buchanan officiating. Her interment will be Wednesday, at Anderson Memorial Gardens in Clinton; TN. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.

Cora Bell Raymond, age 85 of Rockwood passed away Friday, June 27.The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 6-8 PM at the Evans Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Thursday, at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev. Charles Kelley officiating. Internment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Hal McPherson Butler, Jr., age 84, of Kingston passed away Monday June 30.
