Oak Ridge VITA Site Now Open

The Oak Ridge Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Group will open on Monday Feb 2, 2015. the VITA program is an Internal Revenue System initiative to assist taxpayers by providing trained volunteers to prepare individual tax returns and electronically file forms at no cost to the taxpayer. Oak Ridge VITA will again be located at the Trinity Outreach Center, 320 Robertsville Road. Tax Assistance begins Feb 2 and will continue through April 15. Hours are 3 – 730 PM on weekdays and 10 AM – 1230 PM Saturdays. VITA will not have forms or publications available. Taxpayers should bring their own copy of last years return, social security cards, and all relevant forms, photo ID, and current health insurance information with them.
