Rose Ann (Jones) Aytes, passed away at the age of 78 on Monday, September 14, 2026 after a lingering illness. Rose was born in Oliver Springs, Tennessee on January 4th, 1948, daughter of Garfield and Lena Mae Jones of Coalfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband William David Aytes, a sister Mary Adkins, niece Jessica Martin, brother-in-law George Martin, and sister-in-law Sheila Aytes.
Rose is survived by her daughter Sonya (James) Williams, son Travis Aytes, grandsons Rylan and Crimson Aytes, sisters Teresa Martin of Clinton, Brenda Tucker (Buddy) of Ozark, Alabama, brother-in-law Gary (Glenna) Aytes of Rockwood, and sister-in-law Kathy (Tom) Muse of Knoxville.
The family will gather for a private graveside service at Frankfort Community Church.
