Maxine Duncan Lutner, age 84 of Rocky Top, Tennessee, passed away on February 18, 2026, at her residence. She was born in Anderson County on January 30, 1942, to the late Dewey Duncan and Marie Wright. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Clinch River Baptist Church. She loved embroidery, baking, cooking, and gardening.
Maxine is preceded in death by her parents, Dewey Duncan and Marie Wright Duncan, her husband, Jerry Nelson, and Hugh Lutner, Brothers Terry Duncan, Bobby Duncan, Clayton Duncan, and sisters Sue Price, Debrah Jean Duncan, Charlene Mobley, Shirley Chestine Byrge, and Ava Yocum.
She is survived by:

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at the Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Oak Ridge.
