Karen Qualls Reeves, age 70 of Harriman, TN passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Beverly Park Place Nursing Home and Rehab.
Karen was a lifelong member of the Harriman United Methodist church. She was active in the Methodist Youth Foundation and Sunday School Program. She was a 1972 Graduate of Harriman High School and a member of the Marching Band playing the trumpet. She was a graduate of the early Roane State Community College program at Fairmont Elementary School.
Karen spent her working years as a state-certified secretary working in legal, medical, and dental fields, and later retired as a licensed funeral director and insurance agent.
Karen was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her son Jason Christopher Reeves: granddaughter Krystina Marie Reeves; father and mother J. Frank Qualls and Peggy Qualls Kyker. Grandparents Robert W. Ball Virginia Grace Ball, and Lee Andy Qualls.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ralph Thomas Reeves, Jr; Grandson Dalton Wilson (Camp Lejune) Sister Jeanne Qualls Winn (Brentwood, TN); Brothers James Franklin Qualls, Jr (Roane County), Robert L. Qualls (Knoxville, TN), and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A private interment will be held at Roane Memorial Gardens. Kyker Funeral Homes in Harriman is serving the Reeves Family.
