Craig Layman, Workforce Development Associate Director for the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) managed by ORAU and his staff will be showing us what kinds of STEM education and hands-on experience is offered to area teachers and students during the summer.

Dine & Donate is an ongoing fundraiser to benefit ADFAC (Aid To Distressed Families of Appalachian Counties, Inc.) Dine & Donate takes place on the 2nd Monday of each month all year.

Volunteer Doctor Needed

Motorists traveling on I-40 in Knox County next week should be aware of lane closures for roadwork in Downtown Knoxville and East Knoxville.

The Emergency Services Committee will meet on Thursday, March 14, 2019, at 6:15pm at the Office of Emergency Services located on Third St, Kingston. The meeting is open to the public.

Spring Break Camp will be held March 11-15 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day at the Oak Ridge Civic Center. The last day to register campers is Friday, March 8.

The City of Oak Ridge is partnering with Jenkins & Stiles, LLC, to organize a community job fair for those interested in positions with the construction firm. The job fair will be held Thursday, March 14, 2019, at the Scarboro Community Center from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
