Mary Jo Davis Wilson passed away on September 12, 2026. She was born March 18, 1936, in Coalfield, TN.
Mary Jo retired from State of Tennessee after 42 years of service. She had a career and a busy home life with her husband and three children. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Mary Jo was preceded in death by her husband Charles R. (Dicky) Wilson, her son Bryan Wilson, her son-in-law, T. Q. (Buzz) Heidel, her parents Irene and Ellis Davis, and brother Tommy Davis.
Mary Jo is survived by her daughter Teresa Wilson Heidel, her son Charles Richard (Ricky) Wilson, Jr. and daughter-in-law Angela Reece-Wilson, grandchildren Amy Wilson, Andrew and Rujuta Wilson, and great-grandsons Ayan and Riaan Wilson.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm at Schubert Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:30 pm with Chaplain Anthony Kahn officiating. Graveside services will follow at Estes Cemetery in Coalfield.
