Mr. Curtis Buttram Jr, of Knoxville, TN, departed this life on Friday, July 31st, 2026. He was graduate of Campbell High School in Rockwood and a US Navy Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Mr. Curtis “M.C.” and Pauline “Polly” Buttram Sr; brother: Danny Buttram; wife: Angela Buttram; nephew: Michael “Mikey” Buttram Jr.
He is survived by:
Sister: Kathleen Derrick (Andrew) of Rockwood, TN
Brothers: Clarence “Tojo” Buttram, Clayton Buttram (Nora), and Michael Buttram – all of California
Nieces: Sonia Eskridge (Joseph Jr) of Harriman, TN, Tashia Buttram of Chicago, Kasundr Buttram “Peep” of Oak Ridge, TN
Nephews: Andrew (Tammy) Derrick of Ooltewah, TN; Drake and Jermaine Derrick of Rockwood, TN; Patrick Buttram of North Carolina; Clarence Buttram of Chattanooga, TN; Jackie Buttram of Chattanooga, TN Gregory “Greg” Buttram of Maryville, TN; A.C. Buttram of Nevada

and a host of other extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 10th, 2026, from 4:00-6:00 pm ET at Evans Mortuary.
Graveside and interment service will be held on Tuesday, August 11th, 2026, at 10:00 am ET in the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville, TN, with full military honors presented by the US Navy Honor Guard. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. Curtis Buttram Jr.
