Authorities are investigating a fatal pedestrian collision in Campbell County.
Jacksboro Police confirmed that a woman died after being struck by a vehicle Thursday.
The woman was transported for medical treatment but later died from her injuries.
Police had not publicly released her name as of Friday morning while officials worked to notify members of her family.
Information concerning the driver, the location of the collision and the circumstances leading to the incident had also not been released.
Authorities have not announced whether any citations or criminal charges are expected.
