City of Norris Administrative Assistant Christina Huskie has received the 2026 Customer Service Award of Excellence from the Kentucky-Tennessee Section of the American Water Works Association.
Huskie has worked for the city for five years and plays a central role in utility billing and customer assistance. Her duties include helping residents with account questions, notifying customers of billing concerns and supporting the daily operation of the Norris City Office.
City officials said Huskie makes an extra effort to contact customers when their water use appears unusually high. Those calls can help property owners identify leaks before they lead to additional water loss and higher bills.
Waterworks Superintendent Tony Wilkerson described Huskie as a team player who consistently helps both residents and city staff. City Manager Bailey Whited said her willingness to take a personal interest in residents’ concerns reflects the kind of public service the city values.
Huskie previously lived in Norris for 15 years and raised her two sons in the community. Before joining the city staff, she also served on the Norris Animal Shelter Commission.
