Cheryletta Gail Williams departed this world for her heavenly home on May 1, 2026.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lamual & Velva June Newport; daughter Jennifer Pride; grandson Ajax Pride; brother Brad Newport, and special uncle Theodore Taylor.
She is survived by her sons Donald Williams, Ronald Smith, Jr. and daughters Amanda (David) Newberry; sisters Carol Miller, Joye (Todd) Busser and brother Carey (Martha) Newport; grandchildren Maria Pride, Sarah Pride, Samantha Pride, Erin Williams, Kyle Williams, Edith Williams, Hunter Williams, Justin Newberry, Asher Smith, Jayce Smith and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Schubert Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 p.m., with the funeral to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Bro. Terry Potter officiating. Graveside services will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Coal Hill Cemetery in Glenmary.
