Winona “Winnie” Frances Robinson (Donald), age 91, of Clinton, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on April 8th, 2026.
Born October 14, 1934, in Itawamba County, Mississippi, Winona lived a life rooted in hard work, resilience, and simple joys. She worked at JC Penney in the 1970s and later spent many years selling home interiors and gifts, where she built lasting friendships and connections that meant so much to her. In the 1990s, she continued doing what she loved while working at Oliver Springs Flower and Garden. She later retired from Family Dollar in Oliver Springs, TN.
Winnie found her greatest happiness outdoors, tending to her flower gardens with care and pride. She enjoyed making things beautiful in simple ways. She enjoyed trying her luck now and then, always hoping to turn a little into a lot.
She was preceded in death by her beloved spouse, John Robinson; her son, Rick Gray; and her granddaughter, Kateena Haynie.
She is survived by her son, Michael Robinson; her daughter, Michelle Robinson Williams and husband Mitchell; grandsons, James Gray (Becky) of Harriman, TN., Jordan Ledford of Stearns, KY., and Joey Keathley of Oak Ridge, TN. She also leaves behind her two loving sisters, Wilma Cooley and Nora Crites; a special great-grandson, Xander Ledford; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Winona will be remembered for her unwavering love and support for her family.
The family will be receiving friends at Weatherford Mortuary on Friday, April 10th, from 6:00-8:00 pm, with a funeral service to immediately follow. The burial service will be held at Oak Ridge Memorial Park on Saturday, April 11th, at 2:30.
