Mr. William “Bill” Carol Johnson, age 80, of Rockwood, TN, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Roane Medical Center with his family surrounding him. He was born on November 5, 1945, to Murphy E. Johnson and Thelma Dyer Johnson in Knoxville, TN. He was a manager for several years with Walmart and Dollar General and was able to retire from both careers after over 26 years. He was of the Baptist faith and loved being with his family.
He is preceded in death by: wife: Sharon Johnson; parents: Murphy E. Johnson and Thelma Dyer Johnson; and son: Kevin Riggs. He is survived by:

Family will receive friends on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm with a service to follow and Bro. Mickey Leffew officiating. Burial will take place after the service at Oak Grove Cemetery. Evans Mortuary is honored to serve the family of Mr. William “Bill” Carol Johnson.
