ROCKWOOD, Tenn. — Emergency crews responded to a camper fire Friday afternoon on Clymarsville Road.
According to Rockwood Fire Captain Tim Robinson, firefighters and police were dispatched around 12:30 p.m. to a camper that was fully engulfed in flames upon arrival.
Officials say the camper was being used for storage and contained several oxygen tanks, which led to multiple loud explosions heard throughout the neighborhood.
Fire crews were able to bring the blaze under control in about 30 minutes, but the camper was considered a total loss.
No injuries were reported.
After the fire was extinguished, the scene was turned over to the Rockwood Police Department, which is now investigating the cause of the fire.
