Bishop L. McKinney, 71, of Knoxville, TN, departed this life on April 7, 2026.
A Celebration of Life will be on Friday, April 17, at 1:00 p.m., at Spurgeon Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church, 100 South Benedict Avenue.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Terry L. Paige, Sr., grandmother, Edith Hill, grandfather L. C. McKinney, uncle, Joe Wright, and aunt, Leona Brown.
He leaves a mother, Alma Stevens, of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, one sister, Angela Stevens of Knoxville, TN, and a brother, Harvey L. (Rebekha) Stevens, Jr. of Louisville, TN; three aunts, Willie L. Wade of Oak Ridge, TN, Clara Anderson, of New Hope MN, Bobbie (Fred) Bates of Minneapolis, MN; uncles, C. J. Harris of Minneapolis, MN and James (Fannie) Hill of Columbus, GA; two nephews, Terry L. Paige, Jr., of Clinton, TN and Dominick Stevens of Louisville, TN and one niece, Nikki (Zach) Cooper, of Knoxville, TN and other relatives and friends.
