Anderson County Launches New Newsletter to Keep Residents Informed

CLINTON, Tenn. — Anderson County Mayor Terry Frank has announced the launch of a new county newsletter aimed at keeping residents informed about local government news, events, and initiatives.

Frank said the newsletter is something she has wanted to offer for a long time and noted that improving both internal and external communication was identified as a priority during county commission strategic workshops.

The newsletter will include updates on new hires, senior and community center events, and other county government news designed to help residents stay connected to what is happening in Anderson County.

Residents can sign up to receive the newsletter by email or text through the Anderson County Government website.

County officials say the newsletter will be sent out periodically as news and events arise, rather than on a set schedule. The county also says personal information submitted through the sign-up process will not be sold or used for promotional purposes.

Frank is encouraging residents who want to stay up to date on county government matters to subscribe.

BBB Communications Owner/Operator Brad Jones has been part of the company since August 1996. A graduate of Coalfield High School in 1987, Brad later earned his degree from the University of Tennessee College of Communications in 1995, where he was honored with the 1995 Broadcast Production Student of the Year Award. Brad began his broadcasting career while still attending college, working at Shop at Home, Inc. from 1993 to 1995. He later worked at Via TV (RSTV, Inc.) from 1995 to 1996 before doing freelance production work in Nashville. Brad is married to Nicole Jenkins Jones, a 1990 graduate of Oak Ridge High School. Nicole works at Oak Ridge Gastroenterology Associates. Together they have three children: Trevor Bogard, Chandler Jones, and Naomi Jones, along with three grandchildren: Carter Bogard, Lucas Hayward, and Adalynn Reece Bogard.
