Albert Cook, Rockwood

Mr. Albert Cook, age 84, a resident of Rockwood, Tennessee, went Home to be with the Lord and his Beloved Wife, Ruth, on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from his home with his family by his side. He was born on October 6, 1941, in Owen County, Kentucky. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, later transferring to the Civil Service side where he retired after many years of service as a Firefighter. Most of all, Albert loved his wife and daughters unequivocally.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbridge & Isabel Cook; beloved wife, Ruth Ann Cook; infant daughter, Christine Cook; sisters, Irahbell Baston and Elzora Johns; brother, Ernest Cook; and half-brothers and half-sisters, John Cook, Vernon Cook, Elmer Cook, Lucille Gray, and Mildred Cook.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary. Funeral services will follow on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Chaplain LeGrande Lamb officiating. Committal services and interment will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the Glen Alice Cemetery in Rockwood, Tennessee. Evans Mortuary of Rockwood, Tennessee, is serving the family of Mr. Albert Cook.
