Roger Lee Madewell, age 73 of Oliver Springs, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at NHC in Oak Ridge.
He was a graduate of Oak Ridge High School, class of 71. Roger was a member of Beech Park Baptist Church and also attended Calvary Baptist Church in Oak Ridge. He was a truck driver and retired from Mason Dixon. He loved UT sports and enjoyed watching football and fishing. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Parley Butch and Alice Madewell.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sandra Hensley Madewell; Children, Christina Ownby and husband, Clint, and Chris Madewell; Grandchildren, Ava Ownby and Mckenna Madewell;
Brother, Ronnie Madewell, and wife, Rhonda;
Niece and Nephew, Kimberly Dalton, Michael Higginbotham; And many other family members and friends.
Roger chose cremation with no services planned.
