David Moon, age 62, formerly Canoga Park, California passed away on Monday, December 27, 2025, at his brother’s residence. His passing has left a void in our lives that can never be filled. David was born July 21, 1962, in Chatsworth, California to the late Marvin and Almeada Moon. Throughout his life, David loved going to car shows and was a member of the Rod Father’s Car Club in California, loved drag racing, an avid Pittsburgh Steeler, and a University of Tennessee fan. In earlier years David loved water sports, especially jet skis and water skiing. David was a Christian man and was a member of Faith Promise Church in Clinton. He was currently working at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts in Oak Ridge. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents.
David is survived by his brothers, Howard Moon & wife Shelia of Clinton and Kenny Moon and life-long partner, Carol of AZ; nieces, Brittney Moon and Keelan Pratt & husband Josh; best friend, Rudy Martin of Granada Hills, CA; several other close friends and other family members. The bond of family was always a source of strength and joy for David, and his memory will continue to unite us.
