Steven V. Jenkins, age 74 of Wartburg, passed away September 6, 2024, at his home. He was born on February 17, 1950, in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Steven was in the United States Army from 1971-1972. He was a member of the Grace Community Church in Kingston. He enjoyed going fishing and clam digging during the 48 years he and his wife Susan lived in North Oregon. Steven retired and the family moved to East Tennessee. He enjoyed making yard ornaments out of steel in his shop and basket weaving and he loved his cat Scratchy.
Steven is preceded in death by his father Dwaine Jenkins; mother Belva Jenkins, and brother Jerry Jenkins.
He leaves behind his wife Susan Cain Jenkins; son Jeremiah (Tara) Jenkins; daughter Lea Hawkins; grandson Elijah Jenkins; brother Eddie Jenkins and a host of extended family and friends.
The family is honoring Steven’s wishes to be cremated and no services will be scheduled.
