Jessie Marie Waits, age 88 of Rockwood, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at the Signature Healthcare Center in Rockwood. She was born on April 29, 1936, in Crab Orchard.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Felix Monroe Carter & Aldie Mae Kirkland Carter; siblings: Audrey Carter, Ray Carter, Jay Carter, Lennie Eddington, Ruth Eddington, William Carter, and James Carter; grandson: Kevin Waits. She is survived by:
Children: Patricia Ann Waits & Vivian Kay Eddington
Grandchildren: Tony Jolly, Kyle Waits, and Deion Waits
Siblings: Sue Carter, Helen Green, Glendith Henry
and a host of other family members and friends
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 8, 2024, from 2:00-2:30 pm ET at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood. Graveside and interment service will follow in the Millstone Cemetery in Rockwood, TN. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Jessie Marie Waits.
