Mr. William “Wally” Bill Miller, age 76, of Harriman passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp. Wally worked at the historic Brushy Mountain Penitentiary and later at the Morgan County Correctional Facility where he eventually retired. Outside of his working life, he loved playing golf.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Kathy Miller.
His parents: Sterling and Gladys Miller
Brother: Larry Miller.
Sister: Janice Miller.
He is survived by his daughter: Angela Lozier & James.
Brother: Bobby Miller & Sharon.
Sister: Elaine Samples & Ronnie.
Three Grandchildren: Lydia Hatmaker & Marcus, Tara Sampson & JR Parton, Seth Lozier & Kate Huskey.
Great Grandchildren: Sawyer Parton, Blakeleigh Hatmaker, Daisy Parton, and Bayla Hatmaker.
Along with several nieces, nephews, and other family, friends, and loved ones.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Petros Cemetery. Brother Mike Sims will be officiating.
