Information from the Roane County School System. “Due to weather information we have received from the National Weather Service concerning storms that are likely to be in our area this evening, it has been determined it is in the best interest of our student athletes and fans to cancel the Roane Football Jamboree scheduled for this evening at Harriman High School. The jamboree will not be rescheduled.”
The regular season will begin next week for high school football. We will begin our 2024 OEB Law Game of the Week Season on Thursday with the Coalfield at Wartburg game. That broadcast will begin at 6:30pm with Kickoff at 7pm. On Friday, we’ll be at Oliver Springs as the Bobcats host the defending Class 1A State Champion South Pittsburg Pirates. That broadcast won’t begin until 7:30pm with an 8pm kickoff.
