Michael Eugene Pride Jr., age 46, born December 23, 1977, passed away August 10, 2024, at his Mother’s on Henderson Hollow Road, Knoxville, TN.
He was employed at Smithbilt Home Builders of Knoxville. Michael was an outdoorsman who loved camping. Most of all, he loved his boys with all of his being. Michael would never pass a turtle or snake on the roads and leave them-He always had to bring them home and release them in a safe place. He loved helping the homeless and was always willing to share even though he didn’t have much in life. Michael would teach the younger kids that it was better to give than receive and was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone. Michael was happy with the little things in life and his family. He will be missed by many.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Michael Eugene Pride Sr.; grandparents, William Amos and Betty Pride, Willie A. and Velma Cofer, Elbert Shoffner.
He is survived by mother, Diane Pride of Knoxville; sister, Tosha Woods of Knoxville; brother, Will Pride and Tasha Bussell of Oliver Springs; sons, Devin Pride of Clinton, Jordan Pride of Harriman, Timothy Wallen Fuller (Pride), and Brandon Stillman who was like a son; 3 grandchildren, Cyrus, Carter, Calious, Rylie, and Liliana Pride; a host of aunts, uncles, 1 niece, 3 nephews, and many cousins and extended family members who he loved very much.
Visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Friday, August 16, 2024, at Premier Sharp Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 7 pm with Pastor Randy Moore officiating.
