Joe Hatfield, 82, passed away at home on July 29, 2024.
Born to the late Eliza and Fowler Hatfield he is predeceased by seven sisters and two brothers.
He graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Master’s Degree and taught school for 30 years. He loved teaching.
He is survived by:
Special Friends Roger Shields, Jim Gentry, Walter Goins, and Rusty Miller
Special Caregiver Susan Gibson
And a host of many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Rocky Top, Tennessee on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 11 AM with Brother David Walker officiating.
