Glenda Mae Richardson, of Sunbright, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 21st, 2024 at her daughter’s home after a long hard-fought battle with chronic illness. Glenda was known for her kindness and caring spirit. Up until she became ill herself, most of her time was spent caring for others.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ray and Eva Jo Morgan.
She leaves behind her daughter Belinda Spurling of Sunbright TN; granddaughter Morgan Edmonds and her fiance’ Christian Montez of Cookeville TN; brother Jimmy (Ruth) Morgan of Sunbright, TN; Sisters Wanda (Gary) Heidel of Knoxville TN; Linda (Bill) Piper of Huntsville AL and a host of family and friends who loved her dearly.
She was affectionately known as GG by her granddaughter who was the light of her life. She would often put the needs of others before her own. She was considered an angel by her great-niece. Her gentleness, concern, and love she gave to her family and friends will be deeply missed.
The family will receive friends Thursday, August 29th, 2024 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 6-7:30 pm EST with a memorial service to follow at 7:30 pm EST with Teresa Campbell Breeding officiating.
