Elijah Glenn Alley, 45

Elijah Glenn Alley, age 45, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Oak Ridge, TN on February 9, 1979, to Joe Alley and Rejeanne Coleman. Elijah was a graduate of Anderson County High School, class of 1996, and a Mav for life. He went on to get his bachelor’s in education at Tusculum University. Elijah worked for Norfolk Southern Railroad and later for Bentley and Associates. He also coached little league football for Nagaf and Norris Middle School. Elijah was of the Baptist Faith.  

Elijah is preceded in death by, grandparents, Zelmer and Pauline Alley, Sebron, and Rhea Coleman; aunts Michelle Miklas, and Simone Boyer; uncles Timothy Coleman, Mark Coleman, and Jerry Alley.

Son……Slade Alley
Special friends….Davey Gillum, Richie Noe, Lewis Thurman, Rodd Noe, Mom and Dad Noe
A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whom he all loved.

The family will receive friends at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home on Saturday, August 31, 2024, from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM, with the funeral service to follow in the Chapel with Rev. Davey Gillum officiating. Family and friends will go in funeral procession to Norris Memorial Garden following the funeral service for Elijah’s interment.
