Dona Ruth Haworth Bryant, aged 75, passed away on August 11, 2024, in Anderson County, Tennessee. Born to the late James and Mary Ruth Haworth, Dona dedicated her life to the service of others, both as a beloved Registered Nurse and through her personal deeds of kindness.
Dona was a devout believer in Jesus, and her faith was evident in her generous spirit and constant acts of giving. She found joy in her career in nursing, providing care and comfort to countless individuals over the years. Beyond her professional life, Dona cherished spending time with her family and friends. Her selflessness extended into every interaction, often putting the needs of others before her own. Dona’s favorite bible verse was Psalms 63:7, Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.
She is survived by loving friends and family: her daughter, Kimberly Dawn Bryant; son-in-law, Don Burkhalter; grandsons, Corey Snapp and Anthony Finch; great-grandchildren, Emma, and Magnus Snapp; brother-in-law, Bobby Eggers; nephew, Brian Eggers and his wife, Kim; and great-niece, Savannah. Dona was preceded in death by her sister, Patsy Eggers.
