Corryton Man Charged with Second-Degree Murder in Overdose Death

A Corryton man, identified as 33-year-old John Matthew Glenn, has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the overdose death of Megan Marshall from Kingston, according to a report in the Roane County News.

Glenn was indicted on June 17th by the Roane County grand jury, with the indictment alleging that he supplied Marshall with fentanyl, leading to her death last year. He was booked into the Roane County Jail on July 19th and remains in custody on a $75,000 bond.

Glenn was arraigned on the second-degree murder charge in Roane County criminal court on August 2nd. His next court appearance is scheduled for November 1st.
