Cathy Hughes Moretz, Oak Ridge

Mrs. Cathy Hughes Moretz, age 75 of Oak Ridge passed away at home on Wednesday,

July 31, 2024. She was a school teacher for many then became a full-time caregiver for her daughter, Courtney. She enjoyed sewing, making quilts, and bread baking. But, above all, she was a Christian and loved the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Hughes, and her parents, Everett and Irene

Hughes.

She is survived by her children, Courtney Moretz and Jared Cox;

Brother, David Hughes, and wife, Carol;

Her niece and nephew and many cousins and good friends.

Cremation was chosen with no services planned.
