Barbara L. Bridges age 84 of Harriman, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024, at her home. She was of the Baptist Faith. Barbara loved spending time with her family and watching WWE Wrestling and The Pioneer Woman.
She was preceded in death by her parents James and Margaret Pennington, husband Obie Bridges, brothers James R. (Dudy) Pennington, and Richard Steve Pennington, nephew Robert Pennington, and niece Patrizi (Patty) Hull.
Survivors include:
Daughter Nicole Williams and husband Isaiah of Clinton,
Brothers David Pennington and wife Monika of Kingston,
Dennis Pennington of Harriman,
Ronnie (Butch) Pennington and wife Cindy of Richmond, KY,
Sister-in-laws Sue Pennington of Harriman,
Karen Ramsey and husband Lee of Riceville, TN,
Stepdaughters Diane Bridges of Harriman,
Karen Bridges of Kingston,
Stepson Larry Bridges and wife Jarena of Harriman,
16 nieces and nephews plus their spouses and children who Barbara considered her own,
She leaves 10 cousins that were special to her and the great-nieces and nephews are too numerous to number.
The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 23, 2024, at the Kyker Funeral Home in Harriman. The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Ronnie (Butch) Pennington officiating. Burial at Oak Grove Cemetery. Kyker Funeral Homes of Harriman is serving the Bridges Family.
