BBBTV12 Serving Anderson, Roane, and Morgan Counties
In 2011, the class of 2014 lost two fellow students within a span of a few months. Ellie Jackson, a cheerleader who was passionate in marine biology, and Aaron “Brady” Walls, a football player who was passionate about joining the NFL and who enjoyed hunting with his friends, passed away too soon in separate motor vehicle accidents. They were barely sophomores, and their deaths changed the lives of the students at Oliver Springs forever.
As an alumnus of Oliver Springs High School and a representative of the Class of 2014, I wanted to honor Ellie and Brady to commemorate our 10-year graduation anniversary where they would have celebrated alongside us. Thus, The Class of 2014 Memorial Scholarship was born.
In honor of Ellie and Brady, the scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding OSHS student graduating in 2024. The scholarship is open to students who are seeking higher education (such as college, trade school, etc.) to help them achieve their dreams.
