Fire Units sent to Caney Creek RV Park last night to a camper fire

Monday night just before midnight a call to dispatch responded several fire agencies to the Roane County Caney Creek RV Park and Resort to where a camper trailer was on fire. As units arrived on the scene, heavy smoke and Flames were shown from the camper but quick response from Midtown fire department and the Emergency Services Department were able to get the camper fire out before any other campers nearby were affected. The camper allegedly was not occupied, and the investigation is ongoing as to what caused the fire. No injuries were reported.
