Roane County High School Theatre Department to Present an Online Play

The Roane County High School Theatre Department is presenting their showcase play “Ghosts in the Machine” by Eric Coble. With COVID-19, they have decided to make this an on-line production that will be available for viewing from February 19 through February 21, 2021.

A little information about Ghosts in the Machine.

It begins after lunch on Michael’s phone. Someone he doesn’t know is texting him. Soon, eight very different high-school kids are getting bizarre texts from phone numbers they don’t recognize—budding romances, bitter rivalries, even violent threats. What’s going on? A digital mystery for the mind and heart of the savvy texter.

Based on Eric Coble’s original script, Ghosts in the Machine, that garnered rave reviews:

Clue meets The Breakfast Club, with a little bit of Horton Hears a Who, for good measure.” —Ozaukee Living Local

“Incredibly funny [and] thought provoking.” —OnMilwaukee
