Two suspects in East Fairview Road homicide in custody

UPDATE: 10:29AM, the suspects in this case are Sean Finnegan and Rebecca Dishman. More as soon as we get it.

OAK RIDGE, Tenn. (Aug. 6, 2020) – Two suspects are in custody in connection to a homicide that was reported on the 300-block of East Fairview Road Wednesday evening.

Oak Ridge Police Department officers responded to the home on Aug. 5, 2020, at about 7:39 p.m. regarding a possible homicide.

Members of the ORPD Criminal Investigation Division, along with representatives of the District Attorney General’s Office, worked through the night to investigate and were able to identify two suspects.

At 4:26 a.m. Thursday, a search warrant was served at the residence, with assistance of ORPD SWAT and members of the 7th Judicial Crime Task Force.

A search of the home located the body of a 36-year-old female who died from an apparent homicide. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of the family.

Both suspects remain in custody. The investigation is ongoing and no further information will be released at this time.

Brad worked at Shop at Home, Inc. a home shopping network that was located in Knoxville, TN from 1993 - 1995 and then at Via TV (RSTV, Inc.) from 1995 - 1996. After some freelance work in Nashville, Brad joined the BBB Communications staff in August of 1996. A short stint at WVLT TV as a news photographer was in 2001, but he continued to work at BBB TV as well. Brad is married to Nicole Jenkins Jones, a 1990 graduate of Oak Ridge High School, who works at Oak Ridge Gastroenterology and Associates in Oak Ridge. They have 3 kids, Trevor Bogard, 27, Chandler 22, and Naomi 13. On December 12, 2013 they welcomed their first grandchild, Carter Ryan Bogard. Brad is also the assistant boys basketball coach at Coalfield High School for the past 11 years. In 2013-14 the Yellow Jackets won their first district title since 1991 and just the 4th in school history.
