Pam Jones, Rockwood

Ms. Pam Jones, age 54 of Rockwood, passed away August 3, 2020 at Fort Sanders Medical Center in Knoxville.  Pam loved sitting and rocking on her porch while visiting with her neighbors. When she wasn’t outside, she was inside watching either the Food Network, soap operas, or Gunsmoke. She cherished her family and friends and will be greatly missed by them all.

She is preceded in death by her father: Sherman Purkey.

Stepfather: Tom Barnes.

Her grandparents: Roy & Jean Purkey, and Mabis Gunn.

She is survived by her son: Matt Williford.

One daughter and son-in-law: Lindsay & Ralph Ramey.

Mother: Margert Barnes Ward and husband Junior.

Brothers & sisters-in-law: Greg & Jennifer Purkey, Tommy & Stacy Barns, Shawn & Ailiz Barnes.

Special friends: Waltrine, Louise, Sandy, and Tricia.

Many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 5, 2020 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Laurel Bluff Baptist Church in Kingston.  Funeral services will follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Cal Adams and Bro. Junior Ward officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 6, 2020 in the Midway Cemetery.
