Mrs. Helen Louise (Cozart) Roddy, age 98 of Rockwood, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2020 at her home. She was a faithful member of Williams Chapel AME Zion of Emory Gap, Tennessee and attended Speights Chapel AME Zion Church of Rockwood, Tennessee.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Harrison and Lula Cozart; Husband: Amos Buster Roddy; Sons: Lawrence Edward Roddy, Willis Lee Roddy, and Curtis Eskridge; 7 brothers, 4 sisters, and son-in-law: Jerry S. Miller.

She is survived by:

Daughter-in-law: Dorothy Eskridge                           of Rockwood, Tennessee

10 Grandchildren, 23 Great-grandchildren, and 1 Great-great grandchild.

The family will receive friends Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Evans Mortuary from 12:00 p.m.- 1:00 p.m. with the service starting at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Robert Smith, Reverend Erica Hagler, and Reverend Mattie Thomas officiating.

Interment will take place afterwards at Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood, Tennessee.

Evans Mortuary will serve the family of Mrs. Helen Louise Roddy.
