Clarence Roscoe Ketner, Jr., 81 of Clinton, passed away Monday, May 11, 2020 at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. He was born June 26, 1938 in Morristown, TN, the son of Clarence Roscoe Ketner Sr., and Verna Ruth Haun Ketner. He retired from Bechtel Corporation where he was in the Electronic Maintenance Division. He loved the outdoors and thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of camping, fishing and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Goins Ketner in 2005 and his sisters, Jean Breazeale, Jerri Adams, Mary Sue Smith and Tonia Lee Ketner. He is survived by his son, Wesley Brian Ketner and his wife Keici and their two daughters, Zoey Ketner and Wdel Ketner of Thailand. He is also survived by his sister, Betty Bryant Taylor of Clinton and several special nieces and nephews who he was very fond of and many dear and special friends.
The family had a private celebration of his life. Memorials in his memory can be made to Edgemoor Baptist Church, 330 Old Emory Road, Clinton, TN 37716.
