Today is Dine and Donate day to help ADFAC

Today is the day for Dine and Donate across Anderson County. Dine & Donate is an ongoing fundraiser to benefit ADFAC (Aid To Distressed Families of Appalachian Counties, Inc.) Dine & Donate takes place on the 2nd Monday of each month all year. A variety of local restaurants donate a portion of gross sales for the day to ADFAC to be used to help them fulfil their mission of helping local families in need. 

It’s a great way to enjoy a wonderful meal and help someone in our community at the same time!  

ADFAC exists to serve the basic needs of primarily low-income residents in Anderson and surrounding Appalachian counties. ADFAC’s goal is to help families become stable and self-sufficient through a variety of direct assistance services provided by our Social Services and Affordable Housing programs. ADFAC provides assistance with emergency needs such as a utility bill or rent coupled with budget coaching and with longer term assistance such as home repairs and new home builds.
