Nancy “Jeanette” Lively, Clinton

Nancy “Jeanette” Lively, age 77 went to be with her heavenly father on the morning of Monday, May 21st, 2018. She passed peacefully after fighting a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Wartburg, where she loved to sing in the choir and sang many solo’s there. For many years Jeanette sang with her sister Mary and daughter Angela in the trio known as “The Hensleys”. She also enjoyed sewing, reading and working in her flower beds. Although we are heartbroken at the loss of a wonderful wife and mother, we are comforted by knowing she is no longer suffering and is reunited with love ones who have gone on before.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Reverend Ernest Hensley and wife Eva, brothers, Oscar and Cordell Hensley; and sisters, Ethel Braden, Jean Carter, Louise Seiber, Mary Collette and Ruby Brown.

Jeanette leaves behind her loving husband of 56 years R. M. Lively, Jr. of Clinton. Three children and two grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Daughter Angela Wynn and husband Ralph of Clinton. Sons, Gary Lively of Crossville, Barry Lively of Clinton and grandsons Logan Wynn and Devin Lively. Brothers Wilburn and Bill Hensley of Oliver Springs and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 23, 2018 between the hours of 6:00 – 8:00pm at Premier Sharp Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 8:00pm with Rev. Charlie Marlow officiating. Burial and graveside will be held Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 11:00am at Anderson Memorial Gardens. Premier Sharp Funeral Home is proudly serving the Lively family and we invite you to share a message of condolence to the family at www.sharpfh.com
