Gladys York age 69 of Speedwell, passed away Friday, May 16. Gladys’s family will receive her friends on Monday, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm with her funeral service following in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Rev. Houston Carroll officiating. Gladys’s interment will be Tuesday, at Jarnigan Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Clinton, TN at 12 Noon. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.

Mr. Theodore Roosevelt Jordan, Jr. 76 passed awayTuesday May 6. Arrangements are as follows: Tuesday, in The Chapel of Evans Mortuary in Rockwood, Family will receive Friends from 12:00 noon to 1:00pm, Funeral at 1:00pm with Rev. Willie Gallaher, officiating. Concluding Services and Interment will be held following the funeral at Oak Grove Cemetery. Evans Mortuary of Rockwood is serving the Family of Mr. Theodore Roosevelt Jordan, Jr.

Hazel Martha McFalls, age 88, of Kingston passed away Sunday, May 18. Family and friends will meet at 12:30 pm, Tuesday, at Fraker Funeral Home to go in procession to Calvary-Hazelwood Cemetery for a 1:00 pm., graveside service with Rev. Jimmy McFalls officiating. Fraker Funeral Home of Kingston is in charge of all the arrangements.

ORville B Ely Formerly of Oak RIdge passed away May 17. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 – 7 PM at Weatherford Mortuary with services to follow with Rev. Mike Harbin officiating. Graveside services will be held at Barbourville Cemetery in Kentucky Wednesday at 2 PM. Weatherford Mortuary in charge of arrangements.

Herman L. “Bud” Bracken, age 88, a resident of Oak Ridge, passed away, Thursday, May 15. “Bud” was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1944 and served his country in WWII. In 1949, he was discharged from the U.S. Army and then he enlisted into the U.S. Air Force and he served for a total of 21 years, 6 months and 25 days. While serving he received several medals, citations, ribbons and commendations. The family will receive friends, Tuesday, between the hours of 12:00 and 2:00 pm, at Sharp Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 2:00 pm, in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Terry Richards officiating. Burial and graveside services will follow at Oak Ridge Memorial Park with full military honors. Joy Justice, age 67, a resident of Oliver Springs, passed away Monday, May 19. The family will receive friends Tuesday, between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00 pm, at Sharp Funeral Home. The funeral will follow with Pastor Garvan Walls officiating. Burial and graveside services will be held Wednesday, at 1:00 pm, at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. Reba Foust, age 69 of Heiskell, passed away Sunday, May 18. The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 6-8PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will be Wednesday, at 3:00PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Donny Rosenbaum officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery. Patsy Sue Whaley Berney, 81 of Heiskell, passed away Saturday, May 17. The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 6:30-8:30PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will be Wednesday, at 12:00PM at Fairview Free Will Baptist Church in Heiskell. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Amos Joshua Van Hall, age 38, of Oak Ridge, died Monday, May 12. He served with the US Army from 1994 – 2003 as a Military Police Officer. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 from 6 – 7pm at Ridgepoint Church, in the Solway Community. The memorial service will follow at 7pm with Rev. Robert Melton officiating. A graveside service will be held at a later date at the TN Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville. Weatherford Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.

Dan Frederick Stewart, 93, of Harriman died Monday, May 19. he was a World War II Air Force veteran. The family will receive friends at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, at Fraker Funeral Home, with funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ted Taylor officiating. Fraker Funeral Home of Kingston, TN., is in charge of the arrangements.

Shirley K. Miller, age 79, a resident of Devonia, TN, passed away, Tuesday, May 13. The family will receive friends Thursday, between the hours of 12:00 and 2:00 pm, at Sharp Funeral Home.
