Spas Raided in Cumberland County and Roane County

The Interstate Spa on North Gateway Avenue in Rockwood along with several others across East Tennessee where the targets of a multi-state agency sting operation this past Friday evening, as we mentioned yesterday, no specifics on any arrest there were noted but, the owner of a Cumberland County massage parlor was arrested along with other similar business owners in a state-wide sting operation Friday night. Cumberland County Sheriff’s Investigators, working with federal and state law enforcement agents, raided the QT Spa for suspicion of prostitution activities. In the last few weeks, undercover officers were offered sexual favors for payment in the establishment by female workers. Working under a search warrant, authorities found sexual paraphernalia, documents, and large amounts of cash. A computer check revealed that the owner, 58 year old Chong K. Park, had been ordered deported in 2008. But he fled the area and is currently wanted for being a fugitive from another state. Massage parlors in Rockwood, Murfreesboro and Knoxville were also closed down.
